The Reminiacs were lords of Angennes in Perche in France since the 13th century. Passed to the Court they had eminent rank and offices, and held the lordships of Brezolles, Marolles, Laupe, Tallemont, the barony of Arquenai, the vidamate of Mans. By Luigi French ambassador to Rome Giuseppe-Eugenio came to the Savoy court in 1647. Pietro-Eugenio, son of the latter, in 1713 was invested with the county of Villarbasse. Carlo Eugenio march. di Garrino and count of Villarbasse was squire of Queen Maria-Teresa. Alexander, his brother, Bishop of Alexandria in 1818, then Archbishop. of Vercelli in 1832. Extinct in 1836 in the person of Alfredo captain of staff and squire of King Carlo-Alberto.
