Famiglia estinta in quanto ai maschi. Originaria di Padova, si dedicò prima al commercio del ferro e poi Gio. Antonio, verso la fine del secolo VII, piantò in Bassano una stamperie, che fece talmente fiorire da elevarla al rango di una delle più importante case editrici d'Europa. La Calcografia che vi era annessa fu la scuola dei più reputati incisori del settecento e diede origine ad una scuola locale che dette oltre 120 incisori, alcuni dei quali, come il Volpato e lo Schiavonetti, acquistarono fama notevole. Stampava quelle carte da legatorie impresse in colori ed in oro che erano note in tutte Europa col nome di Carta di Bassano ed ora si chiamano Carte di Varese, perchè i calchi acquistati dopo la liquidazione si usarono a Varese. Questa famiglia, assunta alla nobiltà di Bassano nel 1710, si divise in due rami, uno dei quali, il più importante, si estinse verso
