Nel fol. di Roberto e Renghiero fratelli, che essendo all'impresa di Terra Santa, Rengherio fù quello, che della Scoltura dilettandosi, ad instanza di Balduino intagliò le lettere sopra l'Altare del SS. Sepolcro, a' quali fratelli fù poi donata l'arma d'una poi col tempo fù un cigno cangiata in campo azzurro con i gigli sopra, come usano di presente: altri riferiscono derivare da una Donna detta Renga, donna, che per sua industria, e parsimonia fece molte facoltadi, quale fù figliuola
