Alte und berühmte Familie ursprünglich aus Modena. Spaccini listet diese Familie in seiner Chronik 1543 unter den Adligen von Modena auf. Der berühmte Maler Guido Reni gehörte dazu, dessen Vater sie nach Bologna verpflanzte. Heute gibt es keine Neuigkeiten von dieser Familie. Eine illustre und historische Familie zur gleichen Zeit, wie Dolfi in seiner "Chronologie der Adelsfamilien von Bologna mit ihren Insignien und am Ende der Wappen" sagt, die 1670 in Bologna bei Giovan Battista Ferroni aus Bologna gedruckt wurde.
