Nous connaissons fort peu cette famille. Joseph, prêtre, prieur de Saint Alban sous Sampzon, fit enregistrer ses armes en 1696. Jean, assigné le 27 décembre 1698, lors des recherches contre les usurpateurs des titres de noblesse, est condamné, le 6 mars 1699, à payer 2000 livres. Le 24 mars 1699, Jean est déchargé, sur ce que, feu Estienne son père avait obtenu des lettres de noblesse en 1660, lettres qui furent contestées. M. de Bezons l'ayant renvoyé au Roi pour obtenir des lettres de confirmation, il ne fit aucune démarche à ce sujet et ne paya même pas la taxe de confirmation. Le 26 février 1700, noble Jean, fils de feu Etienne et de demoiselle Françoise de Sévénier, de la ville de Joyeuse, épousa Catherine de Rocher, fille de M. M. Rocher, sieur du Prat, et, de demoiselle Marie de Boyer, à laquelle sa mère, à l'occasion de son mariage, fit une donation. Noble Antoine, docteur et avocat de Joyeuse, épousa Marie d'Argenvilliers, dont Dorothée de Saint-Alban, qui épousa, vers 1720, François Guillaume Barthélemy de La Forest, maire de joyeuse en 1738, décédé en 1753.
