Família antiga e ilustre, originária da Alemanha, transplantada em Vicenza em 1070. Em 1217, adquiriu o castelo e a vila de Campiglia dos Cânones de Vicenza por 10.000 liras veronenses com jurisdição total, às quais foram anexados os títulos de conde e marquês. Can Grande della Scala confiou o Repeta por alguns dias com a guarda e defesa da cidade de Vicenza em 1312 contra os padovanos que foram rejeitados, e um Trevisolo dessa família morreu bravamente. O Senado veneziano, em 1700, confirmou ao Repeta os títulos de contas e marquês de Campiglia, que foram passados à venda de Vicenza por extinção da família, sobrenomes antigos que decoram não apenas as famílias, mas também as cidades que os acolhem; de fato, parece que os sujeitos vivos dessa família são muito respeitáveis e apóiam esse sobrenome nobre, que teve vários assuntos ilustres, com muito decoro.
