Second-born branch of the Ricardi family of Occhieppo Inferiore, who adopted the Ricardi handwriting. The progenitor is Giovanni, son of the notary Clemente. It was Giovanni father of Clemente, who from his wedding with Comina by Marcantonio Torre had Gio.
