Famiglia oriunda da Montgènevre e passata poi in Pinerolo e quindi a Torino. Esercitò il commercio della seta aprendo filande e filatoi di seta in Racconigi ed altrove. Stipite noto è Giovanni Francesco che era mercante di chincaglierie in Torino. Salì presto questa famiglia in distinzione nella predetta città. Giovanni Francesco (nato Torino, 25 novembre 1743, defunto 28 gennaio 1823), di Giacomo Claudio, fu decurione di seconda classe di Torino. Fu ugualmente decurione suo figlio Giuseppe Andrea (defunto 21 novembre 1805), mentre il fratello di costui, Carlo (defunto 19 maggio 1807) fu canonico del duomo di Toprino, e un latro fratello Gio. Francesco fu membro del corpo legislativo. Secondogenito di Giuseppe Andrea fu Gaspare Felice (nato Torino, 6 gennaio 1770, defunto ivi, 28 gennaio 1818), il quale dalle sue nozze (1807) con Enrichetta Radicati di Marmorito ebbe Edoardo (nato a Torino 14 settembre 1808, defunto Parigi, 16 febbraio 1853).
