Sulla fine del seicento Sebastiano, proveniente, come vuole lo Schroeder nel suo "Repertorio", dalla città di Rimini, si trasferì a S. Daniele del Friuli per coprirvi l'ufficio di vice rappresentante del patriarca d'Aquileia e di astante alla Banca. Il citato autore afferma ancora che un antenato di nome Carlo fu insignito nel 1692 del titolo di conte palatino dal cardinal legato di Ferrara in vigore della facoltà a questo impartita dal pontefice Alessandro VIII. Non ci consta però che la famiglia ne abbia mai fatto uso durante la sua permanenza nel Friuli. Sebastiano, sposatosi con la nobile Gioseffa Brada di S. Daniele, ne ebbe un fuglio, Leonardo Carlo, nato in S. Daniele il 18 settembre 1625, il quale in epoca imprecisata portò il suo domicilio a Udine, dove fu aggregato al Consiglio nobile con delibera 24 marzo 1700.
