Família Oriunda de Vercelli, que alguns genealogistas gostariam de vincular ao duque de Spoleto, Ascanio II. As memórias seguras começam com um notário Agostino (1543- c. 1613), de Antonio, cidadão de Turim, e recebeu uma concessão de armas em 15 de maio de 1593. Ele era secretário da Religião da SS.
