Familia de origen napolitano. En tiempos de Angevin, muchos individuos compusieron un asiento que se llamaba de 'Rocco. Reducida a cinco los sabios de Nápoles, la familia Rocco formó parte del Seggio di Montagna, donde disfrutó hasta mediados del siglo XVII. Después de la época mencionada, ya no hubo ninguna de las familias mencionadas que intervino, y sin embargo, algunos escritores dijeron que estaba extinta.
