Originalmente de Ravello, onde há notícias do soldado franconiano, que fundou o mais antigo mosteiro beneditino em 944, e de um Constantino, bispo de Ravello (1094-1150), e de Sergio, que em 1130 foi juiz da República de Amalfi . Leone, governador de Bitonto em 1204, trouxe sua família para esta cidade, onde gozou de nobreza até os últimos representantes da família. Recebido no SM, O. de Malta como quarto do cavaleiro entre Prospero Frammarino di Giovinazzo e em 1752 na pessoa do cavaleiro Joseph; passou no convento, em 1798, na pessoa do cavaleiro Eustacchio. Reconhecida como generosa nobreza pela Câmara Real de S. Chiara em 1766, por ocasião da admissão ao cadete militar nos Regimentos Nacionais (Gr. Arch. Of Naples, Com. De títulos, vol.
