Famiglia della Baronia, di origine catalana le cui notizie risalgono alla fine del secolo XV. Nel 1512 un Giovanni era maggiore del porto di Posada e questo ufficio, unitamente a quello di saliniere, fu esercitato anche dai suoi discendenti. Essi, nei documenti della diocesi di Galtelli, figurano residenti ad Orosei, in possesso di un discreto patrimonio e imparentati con i Guiso. Agli inizi del secolo XVII la famiglia si divise in due rami: uno discendente da un Pietro, che ottenne i cavalierato ereditario e la nobiltà nel 1647; l'altro discendente da un Ferdinando, che ottenne il cavalierato ereditario nel 1645. I Roger furono ammessi allo stamento militare nel 1653, durante il parlamento del conte di Lemos e presero parte a tutti gli altri parlamenti. Della famiglia non si hanno più notizie dagli inizi del secolo XVIII. Altro ramo. Antica e nobile famiglia della Sardegna. Il commendator G.B. di Crollalanza riporta
