Venetian family, born from Fusca near Tolmezzo in Friuli. In the eighteenth century it passed to Bassano, then to Trieste in 1823 to Sandrigo and finally to Vicenza, where it gave great growth to the art of spinning and weaving linen and hemp. He founded four large factories in Vicenza, Vivaro, Cavazzale and Debba, acquiring renown for both industrial merits and charitable works. The Supreme Pontiff Leo XIII granted Joseph the title of Marquis with masculine primogenial transmission, with Short 6 March 1901, title authorized in the Kingdom with DR 24 December 1925 and RR.LL.PP of 16 May 1926 and recognized with DP 3 October 1927 for the succession to his son Giuseppe. The presence of the motto in the documented bibliography of the family confirms the ancestral nobility of the family.
