Con Regie Patenti in data 30 luglio 1839 il re Carlo Alberto approvava la convenzione stipulata in Torino davanti il S. S. R. Consiglio di Sardegna addì 25 dello stesso mese ed anno tra il Regio Fisco generale ed il conte don Francesco Sanjust per il riscatto della contea di San Lorenzo e della Baronia di Furtei. Il predetto conte, nato il 2 luglio 1779 morì in Torino il 15 dicembre 1854 senza lasciare successione; lo stesso avvenne per il fratello suo don Giuseppe, epperò i titoli feudali di conte di San Lorenzo e di barone di Furteri, provenienti dalla nobile famiglia Sanjust, passarono al fratello terzogenito don Giovanni Battista , n. l'8 agosto 1781 e deceduto in Villacidro il 9 novembre 1851. Dalla sue nozze con Margherita Cossu nacque Chiara Sanjust, la quale sposò don Giuseppe, e morì in Cagliari il 19 marzo 1866. Alla loro figlia Francesca,
