Familia noble de parte de Jeremías. A Guido en el siglo XII, y Pietro su hijo, eran juristas y lectores, no jueces del municipio. De Pietro nació ese Rolandino que a mediados del siglo XIII fue contratado por uno de los intérpretes más claros del derecho civil. Otro Pietro era profesor de leyes en 1500. Scannabello, hermano del mencionado Rolandino, fue mencionado por el legado papal Bertoldo Orsini, y tuvo que darle rehenes; luego, para Bolonia, negoció la paz con él y beneficios mutuos con el Municipio de Parma en 1280. Otro Scannabello, hijo de Rolandino, con su hermano Guidesto y con su pariente Tomasino, se encontraba entre los miles enviados por el Municipio en ayuda de Carlo Re di Napoli en 1284.
