Cette famille dont on perd la trace en 1587, se fondit dans la maison Chanaleilles. En 1520 Anne épousa Guillaume de Balazuc. En 1569, 14 mars, vente sous forme d'inféodation passée par le prieur de Rosières Jean de Rourrel a messire Guillaume de quelques terres pour subvenir aux réparations de l'église. Guillaume seigneur de Laurac avait épousé Jeanne de Budos dont il n'eut que que deux filles: 1° Jeanne qui eut en dot la Charve et épousa en 1601, Gaspard de Chanaleilles; 2° Alix qui eut pour sa part la terre d'Arleblanc et fut mariée à Louis de Cluzel, seigneur de Laurac. Guillaume de Rosilhes, coseigneur de Laurac, était, en 1573, bailli de Joyeuse et gouverneur du Bas-Vivarais. Il assista, le 15 décembre 1561, à l'Assiette d'Aubenas et fut chargé d'une mission auprès de Noël Albert. Il défendit Largentière entre les bandes de religionnaires en avril 1573 et fut nornmé en août 1573 par Damville, gouverneur du Bas-Vivarais.
