O fundador desta família nobre foi Aresmino, filho de Pietro degli A. de Val Brembana, no Bergamasco. Gusmero, um de seus filhos, propagou a descida em Rovereto, depois dividida em várias famílias. Gusmero II lutou sob Carlos V pela conquista de Parma; Pedro se destacou lutando nas guerras da Flandres; Panfilo, filho de Gusmero II, obtido no Imper. Maximiliano II, para si e para os sucessores diretos e colaterais, diploma de nobreza. Leopoldo II confirmou a nobreza com um diploma em 29 de maio de 1672. Nicolò, de Francesco, foi comissário do Castelo de Rovereto, juiz do vale de Lagarina para os condes de Liectenstein, um dos supervisores da cidade e chanceler do magistrado das feiras de Bolzano: Carlo, historiador de bela fama, morreu em Milão em 1827; e o famoso Antonio, filósofo e fundador dos Rosminianos, que morreu em 1855.
