El fundador de esta noble familia fue Aresmino, hijo de Pietro degli A. de Val Brembana en Bergamasco. Gusmero, uno de sus hijos, propagó el descenso en Rovereto, luego se dividió en varias familias. Gusmero II luchó bajo Carlos V por la conquista de Parma; Peter se distinguió luchando en las guerras de Flandes; Panfilo, hijo de Gusmero II, obtenido del Imper.
