Family of noble origins. A Giovan-Pietro was created by the Emperor Charles V count of the Sacred Palace with a diploma 10 Jan. 1534, through which he conferred the hereditary nobility and the privilege of the noble weapon. Bernardino, doctor of laws, mayor and commissioner of Sassuolo in 1567. A branch of this family flourishes in Borgomanero. Other branch. Ancient and noble Dalmatian family recognized as noble with sovereign resolutions of 1822 and 1823. Another family raised as a weapon. Of blue, to the golden lion, armed and lampassed with red, with the band of the second bordered with gold, loaded with three stars of the same, and crossing on the lion. Cimiero: An outgoing lion of gold, armed and red lampasato.
