En Cataluña y Mallorca. Linaje muy antiguo y noble. El rey don Jaime I de Aragón tuvo en tan alto aprecio a Bernardo R., que se hospedaba en su casa de Cataluña, según lo refiere el cronista Muntaner. Era caballero muy principal y se estableció en Mallorca poco después de su conquista. Su hijo, Juan R., acompañó al citado monarca aragonés, en 1238, en la conquista de Valencia. Así lo atestigua el P. Ribera. Otro hijo de dicho Bernardo R., llamado Arnaldo, fue paje de la reina doña Constanza de Aragón. Tanto en Cataluña como en Mallorca dio este linaje muy ilustres varones que brillaron en las armas, en las letras y en las artes, y desempeñaron cargos preeminentes de la Iglesia, de la diplomacia y de la política; manteniendo el lustre de la familia a través de los siglos. Las armas se ven en la capilla de Santa María de la catedral de Palma de Mallorca.
