Di questa famiglia, che portava lo stemma dei Carraresi, trovo negli spogli del cavaliere Jacovacci due sole memorie riguardanti un Pietro quondam Clemente, vivente nel 1495, e una Domina Ludovica nel 1560. La famiglia levò per arma: d'argento al carro di guerra di rosso, posto in palo. Famiglia assai antica e nobile. Annovera questa illustre casata personaggi di elevate virtù.
