Ancient and very noble Tuscan family, with residence in Florence (Santa Maria Novella, Lion Bianco), known as Ruberti or Ruberto, spread over the centuries in various regions of Italy and Europe. The clear nobility of the family is confirmed by its presence in the valuable work "Collezione Ceramelli Papiani", by Count Enrico Ceramelli Papiani (Colle Val d'Elsa, 1896 - Florence, 1976), a renowned heraldist, which is preserved in the State Archives of Florence, where it arrived for the donation made in 1974. On the other hand, this family, in the unfolding of decades, has always managed to produce a series of men who have made its name famous, in public employment, in the liberal and ecclesiastical professions and in military service.
