Dans un état des taxes faites dans l'étendue de l'élection de Périgueux, en exécution de l'édit du mois de novembre 1640, il est dit qu'un des membres de cette famille, imposé dans la commune du Change à une somme de 40fr., en a été, par ordonnance du 29 avril, déchargé, attendu sa qualité de noble. A l'occasion de la naissance du Dauphin, Louis XIII accorda un certain nombre de lettres de noblesse. Celles données à Marc Roussie, sieur de Bonrecueil, de la sénéchaussée de Périgueux, sont du mois de novembre 1698. Ledit Marc épousa Judith de Maraval et fut père de François, marié en 1666 à Marguerite du Cluzel. Le nom de cette maison se voit parmi les familles en faveur desquelles ont été rendues des ordonnances de confirmation de noblesse.
