Famiglia oriunda da Tournon nella Tarenatasia, che si illustrò con egregi personaggi che ebbero altissime cariche presso i sovrani Sabaudi. Capostipite noto è Pietro, il quale giurò nel 1576 fedeltà al Duca di Savoia. Nell'atto di Omaggio è qualificato nobile. Suo figlio Eustacchio, fu commissario ducale e notaio. Sposò nel 1578 una damigella Fourrier e da queste nozze nacque fu nobilitato col figlio Antonio il 20 aprile 1634 (conferma 18 dicembre 1639) per i servizi prestati al Duca di Savoia in specie nell'assedio di Vercelli. Antonio, detto "de la Tour", fu capitano di fanteria al servizio Sabaudo distinguendosi specialmente nell'assedio di Verrua. Sposò Gasparda del nobile Claudio de Cerisier e fu suo figlio, fra gli altri, Filiberto (battezzato 12 febbraio 1643; deceduto a Tourton, 8 dicembre 1708), che fu presidente della Camera dei Conti, consigliere di S. A., ministro e segretario di Stato per gli affari di guerra (1699). Essendo
