Família antiga e nobre da região de Marche. O comendador GB de Crollalanza relata o brasão desta família nos volumes de seu histórico dicionário de brasões das nobres e notáveis famílias italianas. Várias famílias homônimas se espalharam para diferentes regiões da Itália. As informações bibliográficas que nos são transmitidas podem ser rastreadas até essa linhagem da qual anotamos. Família antiga e nobre da região de Marche. Outra família levantou suas armas. De azul, na faixa dourada, acompanhada na cabeça por três estrelas de seis raios, mal ordenadas, da mesma e na ponta por um cachorro deitado enquanto dourado. Era o costume das famílias mais antigas, que após a queda do Império Romano, naquele dilúvio dos bárbaros, tendo seus sobrenomes, assim como seus estudos, e outras coisas bonitas perdidas e deixadas apenas com nomes simples, desenhavam seus sobrenomes , e sua família por nomes próprios paternos e pelos principais.
