A Valencia pasó desde Soria, para servir al rey aragonés don Jaime I en la conquista de aquel reino, Pedro S. Así lo menciona mosén Jaime Febrer, y de él escribe: "Según las ejecutorias que ha presentado, desciende este Pedro S. de una de las doce casas que en la ciudad de Soria tienen para el gobierno de ella. Como valeroso soldado hizo eterno su nombre y apellido sirviendo en Valencia, Játiva, Alcoi y Mogent. Fue muy experimentado en ardides de guerra. Pobló en el lugar de Agullent". Hoy ese lugar es villa y pertenece al partido judicial de Onteniente. Dejó allí descendencia. En la ciudad de Vic (Barcelona) radicó una casa de este apellido, de la que procedió Pedro S., natural de Vic. También lo cita mosén Jaime Febrer confirmando que en Vic había nacido.
