Alte und sehr edle Taleggio-Familie im Bergamasco von klarer und überlieferter Tugend, die sich über die Jahrhunderte in verschiedenen Regionen Italiens verbreitet hat. Der klare Adel der Familie wird durch die Anwesenheit ihres Wappenschilds in dem wertvollen Werk "Das historisch-Wappenblatt-Wörterbuch der ausgestorbenen und blühenden italienischen Adelsfamilien und bemerkenswerten italienischen Familien" des Genealogen Giovan Battista di Crollalanza bestätigt, das 1886 in drei Bänden in Pisa veröffentlicht wurde. von über 1400 Seiten. Andererseits ist es dieser Familie bei der Verbreitung des Prestiges immer gelungen, eine Reihe von Männern hervorzubringen, die seinen Namen im öffentlichen Dienst, in liberalen und kirchlichen Berufen sowie im Militärdienst berühmt gemacht haben.
