Antica famiglia originaria dalla Catalogna. Carlo II, re di Spagna con diploma, dato in Madrid il 20 aprile 1690, concedeva il titolo di conte di San Lorenzo a favore di don Francesco. Questo ramo della famiglia, essendo ultrogenito, porta il titolo di nobile dei conti di San Lorenzo. Per quanto riguarda il titolo di barone di Teulada, la transazione di questo feudo fatta da don Carlo, barone di Teulada, approvata con diploma del re Carlo Alberto, in data di Torino 5 giugno 1839, ne fa riserva alla famiglia. Di antichissimo uso sono i titoli feudali di signore di Casa Forte e Salti di Murdeu, annessi alla baronia di Teulada. Pel titolo di Neoneli e conte di Tuili (da portarsi quest'ultimo titolo dai figli primogeniti dei marchesi di Neoneli durante la vita del padre), vi è la transazione di questo feudo fatta il 5 giugno 1839 a Torino dalla marchesa di
