Antica e nobile famiglia orginaria del Veneto. Il commendator G.B. di Crollalanza riporta la blasonatura di questa famiglia nei volumi del suo Dizionario storico blasonico delle famiglie nobili e notabili italiane. Di questa famiglia non si hanno più notizie. Altro ramo. Gian-Paolo, ammiraglio nel 1730 della Veneta Repubblica, prese parte a cinque battaglie contro i Turchi. Pietro, suo nipote, fu generale di Napoleone I, dal quale fu creato barone dell'Impero. Altro ramo. Erano del sangue di Transalgardi, o Forzaté, o Capodilista di Padova. Trassero il loro cognome dal castello di S. Andrea oltre Musone nella Marca Trivigiana che ebbero da Carlomagno. Diedero un crociato alla prima spedizione di Terrasanta, capitani alla lega contro Ezzelino, ed un podestà a Vicenza. Lasciarono il castello di Sant'Andrea poco innanzi al 1260.
