Con atto in data 20 marzo Don Alberto Genovese, duca di San Pietro, donava al colonnello nelle RR. Truppe e Cornetta delle Guardie del Corpo di S.M. Cav. Don Stefano Manca di Tiesi, il marchesato di Villahermosa e Santa Croce, in forza della facoltà di disporne inter vivos, accordata al primo acquisitore Don Bernardino ed al donante medesimo di lui figlio; e Vittorio Emanuele I, re di Sardegna, con diploma in data 19 giugno 1804, approvava lo stesso atto di cessione e di donazione del predetto feudo fatto dal duca di San Pietro in favore del suo nipote Don Stefano Manca di Tiesi. Indi, con altro diploma in data 10 ottobre 1818, lo stesso sovrano ordinava che fosse, in forma estrinseca più solenne, inserito il precedente diploma del 19 giugno 1804, col quale S.M. aveva approvato la donazione, fatta dallo zio Duca di S.
