Cospicua famiglia di Forlì, alla quale con D. Min. 18 novembre 1898 vennero riconosciuti i titoli di conte per mf. e di patrizio di Forlì per m. Il primo di questi titoli fu concesso a Fabrizio dal Duca di Parma con diploma 25 novembre 1672: un ramo della famiglia non titolato si estinse nel 1760. Il nome dei membri della famiglia ricorre di frequente nelle storie della città.
