Lors de la séance du conseil du 6 septembre 1843, la magistrature municipale de Pistoia, sur proposition du gonfalonier, conféra la citoyenneté de Pistoia par acclamation à l'avocat. Antonio, auditeur au Tribunal de première instance, no. à Grosseto le 14 octobre 1802, par le commandant Giuseppe, di Antonio, de Sienne, et par Matilde Ricci, qui avait épousé à Pistoia, Antonietta, de feu Andrea Frediano, conseil d'état du duc de Lucca, déjà veuve du Noble de Pistoian Tommaso Scarfantoni, et en 1841 il eut sa fille Eugenia Luisa. Dans l'assemblée de succession du 14 septembre, ladite résolution judiciaire de l'auditeur à la noblesse locale, et le Grand-Duc avec rescrit du 26 octobre 1843, acceptèrent aimablement la proposition au vu des mérites personnels de l'anoblissement.
