Familie valtellinischen Ursprungs. Eine Gabriele aus Dongo am Comer See ist der Stammvater. Er war Bürgermeister von Traona, Morbegno und Tirano und vom König von Frankreich, Ludwig XII., Hatte er 1500 die Fehde von Rumo, aber sieben Jahre später wurde er vom Herzog von Mailand davon befreit. Ein Francesco wurde an den Turiner Hof geschickt, damals Bischof von Avellino. Mit Dekret vom 19. November 178 des IR Heraldischen Gerichts der Österreichischen Lombardei wurde diese Familie in die Liste der Adelsfamilien und der im Heraldischen Kodex aufgeführten Waffe aufgenommen. Die Familie ist in der offiziellen italienischen Liste mit dem Titel Adliger (mf.) Behandlung von Don und Donna in der Person von Carlo, Ubaldo, Giovanni eingetragen. Kinder: Luigia, Clorinda, Ubaldo. Brüder: Marianna, Giuseppe, Giovanni, Vincenzo, Angelica. Vincenzos Kinder: Ida, Carlo, Ubaldo. Tochter von Giuseppe: Giovanna.
