Ancient and noble German family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that appears since the first half of the XV century, with illustrious branches also in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. Originally from Bavaria, more specifically from the cities of Augsburg and Nuremberg, this House was declared Noble of the Holy Roman Empire in the year 1708 but previously it had already distinguished itself as one of the most influential and important of its homeland.
