Ancient and noble family, of Spanish origin, which spread over the centuries in various regions of Italy. The origin of this cognomination, in the name of illustrious genealogists, should be sought in the Latin name "Sebastianus", which probably belonged to a now unknown progenitor. We find the oldest vestiges left by the family in 1400, in the Foggiano territory, in fact, in a notarial deed, where we read: "... nobiblium virorum Ribaldi, Fredelici, Bartholomei et Sebastiani, palatium castri Ripalte, intervening tractatu. ... abbatis monasterii Sancti Petri de Ripalta ... "; another example of the aforementioned cognomination, we have it in 1600 in Rimini where, in another act, we read: "... quondam magistri Sebastiani muratoris ...". Troncato, al primo d'azzurro alla bandiera d'argento posta in banda, al secondo di nero alla ruota d'oro. Casco coronato. Cimiero: Un uomo uscente, di carnagione, con la testa abbassata, i capelli irti, uscente. Svolazzi: a destra d'azzurro e d'argento, a sinistra d'oro e di nero.
