Antiga e muito nobre família Monterubbiano, na de Fermo, também conhecida como Secreti, agregada à nobreza de Montalto em 1788, na pessoa de Vincenzo e seus descendentes na linha masculina e feminina, registrada na Lista Nobre Oficial italiana com o título do nobre de Montalto (mf.), que também residia nobremente em Roma. Uma família Secreti também floresceu nobre na Espanha e evidências da conexão entre os Segredos da Espanha e os Segredos Secretos de Monterubbiano podem ser encontradas no brasão. Diferentemente da Crollalanza, de fato, em sua "Enciclopédia histórica e nobre italiana", Vittorio Spreti descreve o brasão subdescrito para os Segredos ou Segredos Monterubbiano e esse brasão tem os mesmos elementos, metais e corantes que os de Cadenas, em seus "Repertorio de blasones da comunidad hispanica - letras STUVWXYZ" assumirá como a arma dos Segredos da Espanha.
