Une famille illustre et historique qui, comme le dit Dolfi dans sa "Chronologie des familles nobles de Bologne, avec leurs insignes, et enfin les cimieri", imprimée à Bologne par Giovan Battista Ferroni en 1670, est originaire de Bologne.
