Originario de la villa de Balzaneto, en el valle de Polcevera. Michele era de los ancianos en 1386, entonces concejal popular en la octava compañía del Borgo di Prè en el distrito de S. Fede en 1391; Oberto concejal popular de la compañía Castello en el distrito de Ravecca en 1391; Pasquale, Francesco, Giovanni, Andrea, Teramo, Simone y otros Giovanni, intervinieron en el juramento de lealtad dado a Giovan-Galeazzo Duca di Milano; Agostino, notario, era de ancianos en 1497. Los Semino fueron adscritos a la nobleza de Génova en 1528 y 1576, y se agregaron a los hoteles Cicala y Gentile. Arma: Águila dorada, negra, coronada con el campo, impulsada por las dos montañas laterales entre tres, verdes, unidas. Que los miembros de la familia Semino no prestan atención a las cosas vulgares, prometiéndose la recompensa debida de sus propias energías, prueban los documentos conocidos hasta ahora como el Diccionario Histórico-Blasón del Comandante GB de Crollalanza que recolectó las huellas dejadas por la familia en aquellas ciudades donde residía en puestos legislativos, militares u otros, contribuyendo en gran medida al éxito de aquellos documentos útiles para el descubrimiento de esta familia.
