Originaire de la villa de Balzaneto, dans la vallée de Polcevera. Michele appartenait aux vieillards en 1386, puis conseiller populaire de la huitième compagnie du Borgo di Prè dans le district de S. Fede en 1391 ; Oberto conseiller populaire de la compagnie de Castello dans le quartier de Ravecca en 1391 ; Pasquale, Francesco, Giovanni, Andrea, Teramo, Simone et d'autres Giovanni, en 1488 ont participé au serment de loyauté donné à Giovan-Galeazzo, duc de Milan; Agostino, notaire, appartenait aux vieillards en 1497. Les Semino furent attribués à la noblesse de Gênes en 1528 et 1576, et agrégés aux hôtels Cicala et Gentile. Arme : D'or, à l'aigle de noir, couronné des champs, se déplaçant des deux montagnes latérales parmi trois, de vert, unies. Que les membres de la famille Semino soient indifférents aux choses vulgaires, se promettant la juste récompense de leurs seules énergies, est prouvé par les documents connus jusqu'à présent sous le nom de Dictionnaire historique-blasonique du Commendatore GB di Crollalanza qui a recueilli les traces laissées par le famille dans les villes où il a vécu en occupant des fonctions législatives, militaires ou autres, contribuant non peu au succès de ces documents utiles à la découverte de cette famille.
