C'est en vertu d'un testament du 11 juillet 1712, ratifié par lettres paentes de Louis XV du mois de septembre 1720, et 3 juin 1758, enregistrées en 1759, que la famille de Senigon a fait revivre le nom et les armes de Rousset du Cluzeau. Messire Jean Senigon du Rousset, écuyer, seigneur du Cluzeau, noble repaire, paroisse de Proissans, donna procuration au comte de Laborie-de-la-Batut, pour voter à Périgueux, en son nom, pour les députés de la Noblesse aux États-Généraux de 1786. Le nom de cette famille figure également à Agen, parmi les votants de l'Ordre de la Noblesse. Le baron de Senigon-de-Roumefort habite en son château d'Angely (Charente-Inférieure).
