Antiga família napolitana, conhecida desde o século XVII, que se espalhou ao longo dos séculos em várias regiões da Itália. Os irmãos Domenico, 2º tenente do "10º Regimento de Infantaria da Linha Abruzzo" e Salvatore, capitão do "8º Regimento de Infantaria da Linha Calabria" e seu primo pertenciam a essa família, inscrita na lista oficial nobre italiana de 1922. Sergio, porta-estandarte do "10º Regimento de Infantaria da Linha Abruzzo", que participou da defesa do Reino das Duas Sicílias, desde a invasão do Piemonte.
