Patrizia di Sorrento, decorata del titolo di marchese per successione di altro ramo della stessa famiglia, che ottenne detto titolo da re Ferdinando IV di Borbone, nel 1762, in persona di Pietro Sersale, patrizio napoletano, la cui figliuola, Maria Antonia, fu erede del titolo, essendo morto il fratello Giovanni, nel 1787, senza discendenti. Maria Antonia sposò in Napoli, il 13 giugno 1750 (Parrocchia S. Maria dell'Avvocata), Gaetano Sersale, patrizio di Sorrento, n. ivi l'8 luglio 1726, figlio di Paolo, n. 1685, e Beatrice Teodoro. L'anzidetto Paolo, quale discendente di altro Paolo, n. 1598, fratello di Gio. Battista, gentiluomo napolitano del Seggio di Nido, chiese, nel 1714, reintegra al detto Seggio, ma la sua richiesta non ebbe seguito. Dal matrimonio del detto Gaetano con la marchesa Maria Antonia Sersale, nacque Paolo, primogenito, dal quale discende il rappresentante del ramo primogenito di questa linea, riconosciuto nel titolo di marchese con R.
