He obtained the citizenship of Cesena in 1617 and the nobility in 1758. Viviano Marchesi G. claims in his "La Galeria dell'onore", published in Forlì in 1735, and the authors agree with him, that this is a noble and ancient original family of Emilia-Romagna. Many writers have believed that this family entitled to this surname is the same family, and derived from the same lineage; and many would believe this at first sight, not only because this one bears the same surname, but also the same names, and in the same centuries, which in truth can still be seen deriving this family from the same lineage, which could be in ' ancient centuries; but as far as the Scriptures are pointed, this family is seen to be different from the others of the same name.
