Questo ramo rimase a Chiavenna fino alla fine del secolo scorso. L'avv. Bruno, che oggi lo rappresenta e che è il primo nato lontano da quel luogo, ha presentato nel 1931 documentata istanza al Capo del Governo per ottenere il riconoscimento dell'antica e generosa nobiltà della sua famiglia. Egli ha potuto provare la sua ascendenza fino a Piperata, che nel 1323 prese militari del comune di Como, di parte Ghibellina, contro i guelfi. Alcuni autori hanno affermato che il detto Piperata fosse figlio di Giacomo (1290-1299) il quale nacque da Bassiano (1269), figlio di Pietro che fu podestà di Piuro (q. 1226), ed ebbe per padre Peverello (1126), figlio di Scarido (1167), ma il nesso genealogico non è rigorosamente sicuro.
