Very ancient and noble family called Sieripepoli or Sieripolo which claims to be a branch of the illustrious Pepoli family of Bologna. He enjoyed nobility in Sicily and especially in Trapani since the sec. XIV, and it seems that he added, only towards the end of the century. XVI, the surname Pepoli to that of Sieri or Sigerio, carried until then. A Salvatore de Sierio obtained on February 4th. 1364 the fishpond gabelle of the city of Trapani; a Riccardo, Salvatore's son, confirmed it on 30 July 1392 and was captain of justice in Trapani in 1403; a Francesco, royal knight, married Costanza Fisauli, baroness of Culcasi and Mangiadaini and held the position of captain of justice in Trapani in the years 1415-16, 1421-22, 1436-37; another Riccardo was run over on June 26, 1495 and December 22. 1516 of Culcasi and Mangiadaini and of the fishpond's gabelle, he was Ambassador
