Ancienne et très noble famille lombarde, de vertu claire et ancestrale, originaire d'Indovero (Valsassina) et qui se vante comme ancêtre connu d'un Domenico, dont sont nés Carlo (n. Indovino; déc. Cuorgnè) et Giovanni, qui, en à son tour, il procura Giovanni Domenico (né à Cuorgnè, 29 novembre 1653), qui était un forgeron de cuivre et remit l'arme noble le 8 mars 1689. Pietro Giovanni (né à Cuorgnè, 29 juin 1774) appartenait à cette famille ; . ibid, 11 août 1836), fils de l'avocat et notaire Gio Carlo, qui était docteur en droit, vice-auditeur de guerre et maire de Cuorgnè. Il épousa Carlotta, de Carlo Rossi, veuve du major Candido Pinelli, et de ce mariage naquit Giovanni Carlo (né à Courgnè, le 23 mars 1821 ; mort à Turin, le 11 avril 1867), qui de son mariage (1851) avec Carlotta Negri a eu Alfonso (né à Turin le 22 avril 1861),
