Diese Familie hat ihren Ursprung in Vigone und wurde von Giulio Sillano, Konsul im Jahr 692 v. Chr., Abgelenkt. Sichere Erinnerungen erinnern uns an einen Antonio Sillano, der der Vater von Sillano Francesco, Maria und Chiaffredo war, der Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts lebte. Bernardino gehörte zu dieser Familie, die Professor für Rechtswissenschaften und Biella war, dann Senator des Piemont (1620) und mit allodialem Vermögen in Vigone ausgestattet war, das am 2. Juli 1623 feudalisiert wurde. Er war in den berühmten Prozess gegen Biella verwickelt Zauber und Lese Majestät gegen den Mönch Gandolfo und eingesperrt wurde auf mysteriöse Weise tot im Gefängnis gefunden. Bernardinos Sohn Giambattista (geboren am 14. Mai 1624 in Turin), ein Doktor der Rechtswissenschaften, verteidigte sein väterliches Gedächtnis im Senat des Piemont energisch und erhielt seinen posthumen Freispruch. Im Leben hatte er das gesamte Vermögen beschlagnahmt und am 17. Juni 1656 der Prinzessin Lodovica von Savoyen übergeben lassen.
