Il Principe Elettore, Carlo Teodoro di Baviera, con diploma dato a Monaco il 3 agosto 1790, creava barone del Sacro Romano Impero, col predicato di S. Cassiano, Antonio Siorio, da Riva coi suoi discendenti legittimi di ambo i sessi e gli concedeva l'uso dello stemma. Col D. P. 4 dicembre 1923 ottennero il riconoscimento del suddetto titolo : dottor cavaliere Luigi, n. Riva (Trento) 8 giugno 1880, di Luigi Giuseppe, di Luigi e di Anna Strasser (1° letto), sposato Verona 14 settembre 1912 con Maria Camuzzoni. Altro ramo che ottenne il riconoscimento dello stesso titolo e predicato con D. P. 29 giugno 1926: avvocato dottor Luigi Alvise, n. Riva, 9 novembre 1877, di Antonio, di Giuseppe, di Antonio e di Giovanna degli Abbondi, sposato Riva 10 ottobre 1905 con Bianca Luciolli, da cui: a) Antonio, nato Merano 29 settembre 1906; b) Giuseppe, nato Merano 19 dicembre 1907.
