Diramazione della famiglia dei marchesi di Lizzano. Nel 1704 Giovan Battista dei marchesi di Lizzano fu dichiarato dal Sacro Regio Consiglio nobile fuori Seggio in Napoli. Altro Giovan Battista nel 1795, ottenne con R. Assenso l'aggregazione al patriziato di Amantea. Con D.C.G. del 13 dicembre 1928 (VII) i fratelli Carlo e Giuseppe di Eugenio furono riconosciuti nel titolo di patrizio di Amantea (m.) e predicato di Lizzano (mf.). Sono iscritti ancora nell'Elenco Uff. Nob. col titolo di patrizio di Amantea (m.); i fratelli de Luca di Lizzano. 1) Giuseppe, 2) Alessandro, m. in Amantea 27 marzo 1856, 3) Ernesto, n. ivi 27 marzo 1856, 4) Alberto, n. in Reggio Calabria, 5) Adolfo, n. in Amantea 28 genn. 1860.
